First of all I will admit that Mac OS X Snow Leopard isn't perfect and neither is Windows 7. The problem with Windows is that they "must keep backwards" compatibility alive, and because of this, they keep building their OS one layer at a time over top of the old one. Sure it maybe abit more secure, have some new cool features, but until they give up this mentality and build a new Microsoft OS then it will still gain problems once the masses begin to use it. While the reviews may be good, the reviews were also good for XP, ME, VISTA, etc, etc. I was a PC guy for years and got tired this. If they would rebuild a new OS (not even calling it windows), there by making all new software to be compatible with just it, then I might think about switching back.

And yes, Mac OSX does have its issues, but when I ran IT with over a dozen computers running XP (which IMHO, was MS's best OS to date), and then we switched to MACs, our downtime dropped dramatically. I almost worked myself out of a job. So while your friend might have issues at work with their macs, I can't imagine what it would be like if they all ran PCs.

I'll out right admit that I'm a Windows guy. That being said, I'm not really against Macs, I just have never desired to have one. In regards to the ad, I find it funny and I enjoyed it, but I don't think it "nails it on the head" about Windows 7. I've looked on the internet and I have trouble finding negative reviews for it. I've even found reviews from Mac users that like it.

Also, my friend works at a place that runs all Macs, and all he does is complain to me about how many times they crash on him. Are Macs all that different from a PC? I've had my desktop for a year now, and I don't remember one single time that my computer froze or had any issues.

Anyways, thought I'd add my two cents.
