Terribly Poetic

I have been meaning to write something on here for quite a few days. I had a few different post ideas ready to go. However, for some reason I just couldn’t bring myself to organize my thoughts well enough to post on any of the topics I had come up with. Therefore you are left with this….. a collection of websites, blogs and links that I have been visiting lately that I thought you might be interested in.

Relevant Magazine – This one goes without saying that if you haven’t checked this magazine out then stop reading this blog right now…. wait don’t listen to that…. goto it after you’ve finished read this post

Tech Talk – Okay this is shameless self promotion, but really if you need some good tips for using that new mac you just bought, this is a pretty good start.

Plumb – While this website isn’t the best, it is a pretty well put together Christian Arts Journal. I’m actually hoping to get some of my work published in it. You can download pdf’s of back issues which is probably the best part of the whole site.

Kiva – Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. I plan to make this part of the next project for Poetic Industries.

nakedpastor – Okay, this isn’t what it sounds like. Just a great bunch of reading and art and comics about life as a pastor and follower of Jesus.

Toms Shoes – Every pair of shoes you buy, the company will give a pair of shoes to a child in need.


What sites do you visit? I would love to know the sites my small group of readers goto regularly or that they think I would find interesting? I’ll post more next time as this list doesn’t include many of my regular sites, but is more of those sites which I truly love and inspire me.
